About me

Hello there, my name is Cerys, I am the owner and photographer behind Sunshine Studios. 

(ah yes I know what  you are wondering, how do you say that name?

Cerys, it sounds like Ferris as in Ferris wheel, its Welsh, and means Love).

I’m based in Wellington, New Zealand. You may have already met me at Pop-ins. I have been shooting Little Annie Pop-in Portraits since 2017 and photographed thousands of babies in Wellington since then.

I am also a Newborn, baby and Family photographer offering in studio and at home shoots. 

Newborn, baby and family photography are my absolute passion and I adore that I get to share what I love with so many people.

I  have two studios in Wellington, one in Karori, and one in Tawa. I also offer Milestone Mini sessions and Cake Smashes at both of these studios, perfect for celebrating your little ones birthdays.

My Karori studio in Wellington is the perfect size for Newborns and babies as it's not too big and has a lovely relaxed, cozy feel to it, which helps put the little ones at ease. Here I photograph many families from Karori, Kelburn,  Brooklyn, Khandallah, Newtown, Miramar and beyond.

My Tawa studio is a little bigger with plenty of room to relax whilst your little one is being photographed. Here I have photographed many families from all of the northern suburbs of Wellington including Porirua, Aotea, Johnsonville and Plimmerton.

I am a Mum of two beautiful boys, they keep me on my toes, and make me laugh every day.
